Born in 1985 in Belgrade, of Belgian and Serbian nationality, Milos Popovic begins to play the piano late at the age of 10 in the music school "Kosta Manojlovic" at Zemun with Sinsa Radojcic, but his evolution is particularly dazzling : at 11, he wins the second prize at the Young Pianists Rubinstein competition in Paris, then the 1st prize at the age of 12. The prizes follow one another...

In 1999, he meets Eugène Moguilevsky. This encounter will be determining for his career - 2000, prize at the national competitions of Serbia; 2001, 2nd prize at the Wiener Pianisten Wettbewerb Panmusica (Vienna); 2002, 1st prize at the Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Città di Gorizia; 2003, 1st prize at the international competition for young pianists Gradus at Parnassum of Kragujevac Serbia) - which encourages him to continue and to attend the master classes by Moguilevsky and to enter in his class at the Royal Conservatoire of Music in Brussels.

In the meantime, he has chosen to continue his music studies abroad, at the Novi Sad Conservatoire in Serbia with Biljana Gorunovic. He thus was able to hold concurrently his last two years of the secondary school and the superior piano cycle until June 2004.

During his studies, he had already the possibility to receive the advice of experienced pianists such as Alexandre Madzar, Natalyia Antonova, Vitaly Margulis, Aldo Ciccolini, Menahem Pressler, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden and Dmitry Bashkirov. Concerts in Brussels (Palais des Beaux-Arts, Flagey), Krakow, Nürnberg, Belgrade, Novi Sad, festivals of Montpellier Radio France, Vexin, Menton, Riva del Garda...are to his credit, playing alternatively in recitals or with famous orchestras (The English Chamber Orchestra, ORCW, YOA...) under the direction of Augustin Dumay, Carlos Miguel Prieto, Isaac Karabtchevsky...

Since he entered the Queen Elisabeth College of Music (october 2004), he was awarded an annual scholarship by Belgacom renewed for 2006-2007 which allows him to improve in the advanced module under leadership of Abdel Rahman El Bacha. Last year, he finished his studies at the QECM and received the diploma with the mention - "the greatest distinction".

In 2004, he becomes laureate of the Belgian Foundation for Young Soloists, which gives him the necessary support to launch his career as a soloist which he plans.

In November 2008 he won the 2nd Price at de "Guiliano Pecar" International Piano Competition in Italy.
Recently he was awarded by the Public French-speaking Radios as the "Young Soloist for 2010".
